One Month Later

It's been a month since I posted anything. A whole month.

Lots has happened, I reckon:
  • I turned 39. That doesn't impact the world, but screw the world. This isn't the world's blog.
  • Many people died, presumably, as that's what people do.
Superficially speaking, that's it.

Okay, Okay. More specifically:

Luka Magnotta was arrested for murder and dismemberment. He's worth the amount of attention it takes to load one bullet into a big, scary gun and the fractions of a second that bullet takes to turn his wormy little 'brain' to liquid. That's it, kid, there's the spotlight you deserve. I pray you choke on your own tongue, in your sleep (if you want). Preferably tonight. Just get it over with.

Saw Roger Waters perform 'The Wall' this past weekend. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected, but I'm not sure why that surprises me. I'm anti-everything and detest being told what to do by anyone. Great show.

Porn stars drink and drive sometimes. Wait... porn stars lack sound judgement?? Well, I never.

There emerges a report today that Madonna sends a crack team of cleaners and scrubbers into her dressing rooms after she's all done with them to make sure her DNA isn't just left lying around all willy-nilly. In case someone wants to clone her? Why won't she just fuck off?

Things like this! are considered newsworthy.

Also this. You know what, BigDumbEdgyRodent? You need to learn a fucking instrument. Your fingers will cramp and bleed a little and then you'll learn to appreciate that real talent is more than hitting a button. I've not bought into the idea that technology makes everything better and I would wager that if you threw a real trumpet (made of brass and everything) into the mix, you'd be Avant Garde Mouse in three seconds.
